The men and women of the Morvan have always been on the move, travelling and welcoming visitors. Out of economic or political necessity, many have left and returned, taking their knowledge and practices with them, bringing back income, resources and new ideas to the region.
The Écomusée du Morvan takes you on a journey to the heart of these human stories, through 9 themed houses and 3 associated sites, to understand how the Morvan was built up through exchanges and migrations, but also to reflect on its future.
