Le Petit Lac de Pannecière

Energy production and the preservation of species and their habitats sometimes go hand in hand...
The Nièvre Departmental Council, Électricité De France and the Morvan Regional Nature Park have joined forces to explain this to you, as part of the development of the Pannecière compensation basin.
The ornithological observatory, located at the end of the path on stilts, will welcome you comfortably (about 15 people including 2 observation posts for wheelchairs).
Don't forget your bird guide and binoculars!
Be careful with regard to the variations in the flow of the Yonne River and the risk of getting stuck on the banks of the lake: do not leave the access roads.
Do not use the path in case of flooding because of the risk of overflowing!
