La Bank

In 2021, sculptor Henk Slomp will take up residence in the former Lormes bank. LA BANK has become an exhibition space, a living and creative space, where art merges with history to create a unique experience.
The former offices devoted to financial transactions have become poetic stages. From modest, delicate trolleys to monumental structures and vibrant installations of sound and mechanical movement, each work is a bold exploration of sculptural possibilities, immersing visitors in ambiences that are both elegant and spellbinding. In this artistic universe, materials are reinvented. Sturdy corten mingles with blocks of glass, while metal wires, fragile feathers and ancient bones combine to create compositions that are both ephemeral and eternal. In every corner, a new discovery awaits the visitor, from the small secret gardens to the safe room that has remained intact.
