The Yonne
The Yonne downstream from the Pannecière dam is one of the department's showpieces. This well-maintained and signposted river offers all anglers the opportunity to practise their favourite technique under good conditions. The Yonne is a medium-sized river, between 15 and 20 metres wide, flowing through the granite of the Morvan massif, offering fast and coloured water. Its flow is determined by the action of the lake upstream, which usually releases more water from July to October than the rest of the year.
