This detached house with terrace, veranda and enclosed garden is 200 m from the shops in Ouroux-en-Morvan. Access to the house via a staircase: entrance via the veranda overlooking the well-treed garden; separate fitted and equipped kitchen, living room with TV lounge and dining area, separate toilet, bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190); upstairs: separate toilet, shower room with large shower, bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190) and study.

All-inclusive accommodation: bed linen with beds made up on arrival, towels, kitchen linen, heating and electricity (subject to reasonable consumption), and end-of-stay cleaning included (but the gîte must be left in an acceptable state of repair).

Explore this unspoilt area in the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park on one of the many hiking, horse-riding and mountain-biking trails. Forests, hedged farmland, granite rivers and large lakes are the assets of the Morvan.
Take a stroll from Ouroux-en-Morvan, a peaceful village situated at an altitude of 560m, head for the Banquet chapel for its panoramic view over the Morvan, or explore the Maquis Bernard in the footsteps of the Morvan Resistance...
Lovers of swimming, water sports and thrills are not forgotten, of course, as the gîte is located close to major lakes (Pannecière 7.7 km, Les Settons 17 km, and a rafting base 27 km away).
To balance your stay, you can add some cultural outings. You can visit the Costume Museum and the Septennat Museum in Château-Chinon (24 km), the Museum of Nannies and Children of the Assistance Publique in Alligny en Morvan (28 km), the Museum of Morvan Hamlet Schools at Lac des Settons, the Clog-Making Museum in Gouloux (17 km) and the Saut du Gouloux and its promenade... You can also visit châteaux such as the Château de Vauban at Bazoches (33 km) and the Château de Chastellux (32 km), not forgetting Vézelay and its basilica (46 km).Autun, nicknamed "the little Rome of Burgundy", is also well worth a visit (44 km), as is the Bibracte archaeological site (45 km), with its guided tours and self-guided walks.
