Your journey starts at the Maison du Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan where you can visit the Museum of the Resistance, the Ecomuseum of People and Landscapes, take several educational trails or have a break at the Bistrot du Parc. This architectural complex, very innovative for its time, is based on the plans of a 19th century English farm.
Its patron, the Count of La Rivière, had taken refuge overseas during the Revolution. After crossing the Grandes Fourches, you enter the state forest of Breuil-Chenue. In the heart of this forest was a granite quarry, the stones of which were used for numerous constructions in the area, including the Lac des Settons dam. When you arrive at the Breuil chalet, you are at the starting point of the downhill mountain bike trails. Continue on your way to the Dolmen de Chevresse. This natural rocky mass was the scene of pagan rites practised out of anticlericalism. Before finishing your journey, you will cross the town along the old royal road which linked Corbigny to Saulieu and go along the Taureau pond, a Natural Zone of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest.
