Le Réservoir du Crescent

A 165-hectare reservoir that supplies energy to a hydroelectric plant and helps to regulate the flow of the Seine. It is an artificial lake located at the confluence of the Chalaux and the Cure. It straddles the departments of Nièvre and Yonne, in the Morvan Regional Nature Park. Due to its difficult access, the lake of Crescent is dedicated to keep its wild aspect surrounded by pastures and forests, paradise for fishermen.
